Philip V. Moyles, Jr.

Philip V. Moyles, Jr. is a Managing Principal and CEO of Vanbridge, which is an EPIC company. He serves as the Chief Growth Officer of EPIC and is on the firm’s Executive Committee. He is also the President of EPIC’s Financial Services business. Mr. Moyles has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. In his role as Chief Growth Officer, Mr. Moyles has responsibility for the distribution and innovation platforms at the company.

Prior to founding Vanbridge, Mr. Moyles was an Executive Vice President and CEO of the Americas for Marsh LLC (Marsh McLennan). During a twenty-year career at Marsh LLC, he was head of Global Products and Services, had responsibility for the managing general underwriting platform of the firm (VICTOR), led the company’s industry specialties and distribution efforts as well as built the company’s Private Equity and M&A Services business. He received the Marsh McLennan Inter-Company Professional Recognition Award and led the formation of MaRI, which was the first sidecar created directly for the property catastrophe risks of corporate clients. He was on the Marsh LLC Board of Directors, its Operating and Executive Committees and served on the Marsh McLennan Executive Committee.

Mr. Moyles is a Senior Advisor of A&M Capital Partners and DIATOMS, Inc. He is a former Senior Advisor of CVC Capital Partners, Sound Point Capital and Stone Point Capital, as well as a Board Member of Protective Insurance. He has also served on the Board of Overseers for St. John’s University School of Risk Management and is the President and on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund. In addition, Mr. Moyles serves on the Board of Directors of the Portsmouth Abbey School, where he is the Chairman of the Annual Fund.

Mr. Moyles holds an A.B. from Kenyon College and has completed the Executive Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
